The screenshot that you provided does not show up.  What is the layout
of your partitions?  Sometimes partitioning fails when there is an
unexpected combination of partition tables or an error in the partition
table.

You also need to select "/" in the dialog box for the partition that you
want to hold Linux.  This partition will be reformatted (all data will
be lost on this partition) and designated as "/" or root.  If you don't
select "/", then you could get this error message. Da'h?  Ochen
