This has allowed me to disable tap-to-click (through the mouse preferences) and I was still able to do single clicks with the buttons (something that wasn't possible when I had the keyboard and mouse lines in the ServerLayout section. IOW, that seems to be the only reasonable workaround I found so far. (I need to point out that I tested this by manually running a second X server on another display, which is something I haven't tried before.
