Yes, that's why Scott is asking for a) diffstat between upstream releases (or better between packages) b) diff of the upstream changelog (I assume that's the one in the bug's description) c) build log and d) install log (in a hardy system) of course e) mention if it works for you, or if s.th. doesn't work
