I had pretty good luck with mysql and an odbc connection to open office
on the same machine with a 32 bit installation of gutsy, but never did
manage to get the odbc connection to work with a 64 bit gutsy. I have
begun an experiment with open office, sdbc, and postgres in the 64 bit
installation and since I haven't yet used this much the verdict is still
out, but it seems to be doing what I need it to do.
