Using Ubuntu 7.10 with kernel 2.6.22-14-generic will all updates
applied, Bug still present.

I am having the same problem after partitioning a new harddrive,
installing a clean windows, then installing a clean ubuntu using the
fat32 as a shared drive.

Only one folder is non-writeable (Jonathan). It is my major storage
folder where the majority of my files are located:

$ ls -l

drwxrwxrwx  2 root root     16384 2008-02-19 17:24 Incomplete
dr-xr-xr-x 37 root root     16384 2008-02-19 17:09 Jonathan
drwxrwxrwx  8 root root     16384 2008-02-24 23:10 Mail
