I am having the same problem after partitioning a new harddrive, installing a clean windows, then installing a clean ubuntu using the fat32 as a shared drive. Only one folder is non-writeable (Jonathan). It is my major storage folder where the majority of my files are located: $ ls -l drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 16384 2008-02-19 17:24 Incomplete dr-xr-xr-x 37 root root 16384 2008-02-19 17:09 Jonathan drwxrwxrwx 8 root root 16384 2008-02-24 23:10 Mail ** Attachment added: "Screenshot of folder properties & terminal" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12178171/Screenshot.png -- Some folders on fat32 filesystem not writable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/52778 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
