Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: qemu

The Minix kernel hangs upon loading in Hardy, both when booting from the
CD image and from an installed image created with Gutsy. It runs fine
in Gutsy, but alas, libvirt is significantly lacking in functionality in
Gutsy, and my Gutsy machine isn't as powerful :(

Here is the qemu command line I'm using for both:

qemu -no-kqemu -localtime -net user -net nic -m 256 -cdrom
/path/to/Minix3.1.2a-IDE.iso -hda minix.img -boot d

(With -boot c to boot from the image).

Attached is a screenshot of how far the loading process gets.

** Affects: qemu (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
