I installed voluemid, libvolume-id0, and udev from gutsy-proposed. My initial testing shows it's working well for me.
For others getting this to work, add the following lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list: deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu gutsy-proposed main restricted universe multiverse deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu gutsy-proposed main restricted universe multiverse Then run: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install volumeid libvolume-id0 udev In my case, I removed the extra lines from sources.list and reran "sudo apt-get update" so that update-manager would stop asking me to install other packages from proposed. -- mounting Luks encrypted USB-HDD does not work reliably https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/148003 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a subscriber of a duplicate bug. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
