Steps to reproduce Boot Hardy LiveCD in VirtualBox 1.5.4 or 1.5.6 In the VBox menu mount a dos floppy image, e.g. http://www.ucc.asn.au/~mccabedj/ccache/Hardy-ccache.img.bz2 (decompress first ;) Go to Places->Computer Double click Floppy Drive. Nothing happens. I'd expect the floppy to be mounted. Workaround: sudo mkdir /media/floppy sudo mount /dev/fd0 -t auto /media/floppy A "Floppy" icon will now appear in the Computer folder. The "Floppy Drive" icon will remain, and will be still be useless.
