Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.  It looks to me like this bug is resolved in at least
Hardy Heron, the current development release of Ubuntu, scheduled to be
out in April.  smbclient is recommended by cupsys.  The output of apt-
