My resolution under GNOME is 1280x1024x60Hz (infor from LCD monitor).
During boot, resolution is 1024x768x60Hz. It should be OK, but I see
only a black screen. I see not synchronised signal, when I switch to
console screen (CTRL+F1, F2...) From this sign I guess I have some
problem with my video card driver.

Anyway, I tried to change upslash.conf as you sugested and rebuild
ramdisk and it doesn't fix my problem. I tried with 17" analog monitor
too, the same result. It points to problem with video card driver, isn't
it?
