Hi Thomas, Just a few things:
1) Care to test the latest 2.6.24-8 kernel and verify this issue is still present. 2) Also, the iwlwifi drivers are included in the kernel now. I believe however the iwlwifi version is 1.1.17 in the kernel. The linux-ubuntu-modules package has an updated version of the iwlwifi drivers, version 1.2.0. I assume you are using the 1.2.0 version and am just curious if you notice any difference if you use the 1.1.17 version. 3) Finally, if you notice the issue still exists with 2.6.24-8, per the kernel team's bug policy, can you please attach the following information. Please be sure to attach each file as a separate attachment. * uname -a > uname-a.log * cat /proc/version_signature > version.log * dmesg > dmesg.log * sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log For more information regarding the kernel team bug policy, please refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies . Thanks again and we appreciate your help and feedback. ** Changed in: linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- [hardy] iwl3945 fails reporting networks with iwlist wlan0 scan https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192119 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
