That's why I noted in report that sync isn't possible. I mailed debian maintainer of haskell-x11 with update request two weeks ago but there wasn't any feedback. Anyway, it would be great to have recent haskell bindings in hardy.
Including recent versions of xmonad into universe shouldn't be a high priority task because of it's rapid development cycle.
