Don't tell them to pull their fingers out... sheesh, that makes them want to write code for you for free, huh?
At any rate, I am having this same issue. No PPTP VPN support even after I install network-manager-pptp. I get the error "No configuration interface". I am in the process of trying nem75's fix, but that is sloppy - this should be something that is integrated into ubuntu (or kubuntu) - I should be able to connect to any VPN out-of-the-box. Also, the KNetworkManager link does nothing from the menu as everyone is stating. Very frustrating - possibly related to the "administrator mode" not working when in "System Settings"? -- dependency problem on Kubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123696 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
