Public bug reported: Binary package hint: grub
After upgrade from Feisty>Gutsy (64bit), I was surprised to not see the new Gutsty kernel in the o/s list on boot. The new kernel appears in the /boot/grub/menu.lst in the Gutsy filesystem partition but, (I'm guessing), grub appears to be using the one from within my ubuntustudio install (- in adjacent partition) This is on a laptop with only one hard disc (sata) I'm sorry if this is a side effect of some of the other reported bugs currently being addressed, but as it's not exactly the same as any of them I thought I would mention it. Thanks. ** Affects: grub (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- grub using wrong menu.lst after gutsy upgrade? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/193098 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
