Hi Ante If you follow the link http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash, there's instructions on how to add a repository where you'll find the packages containing the debugging symbols, in this case the packages would be named as <package>-dbgsym instead of -dbg.
There you'll find the corresponding package to firefox-3.0 and also firefox, with those packages and the others mentioned at the second link, you should be able to obtain a backtrace.
