I observed this bug on a week old Hardy install. My xorg.conf is basically empty (generated by the alternate installer):
Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Generic Keyboard" Driver "kbd" Option "XkbRules" "xorg" Option "XkbModel" "pc102" Option "XkbLayout" "de" Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys" Option "XkbOptions" "lv3:ralt_switch" EndSection Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Configured Mouse" Driver "mouse" EndSection Section "Device" Identifier "Configured Video Device" EndSection Section "Monitor" Identifier "Configured Monitor" EndSection Section "Screen" Identifier "Default Screen" Monitor "Configured Monitor" EndSection I never saw this before (breezy installation continuously updated to hardy). I have the same graphics chip, same screen resolution as the original reporter. Different laptop though (Thinkpad T40p). -- visual bug in gnome terminal https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/128329 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
