Crashed for me when I exited Synaptic Package Manager. I downloaded debug symbols, but don't know how to get the core dump extracted from the crash file to do a backtrace. I just finished a 7.10 upgrade to 8.04 and got this crash within the first few minutes so don't know if it will repro, but since I was directed to launchpad thought I'd add my 2 cents. crash file attached.
I've downloaded the debug symbol package so I could probably get a backtrace if someone can tell me how to extract the core dump (assuming that would help). Thanks. ** Attachment added: "compiz.real crash file" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12043739/_usr_bin_compiz.real.1000.crash -- compiz.real crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183685 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
