Hi Steen,

Thank you for your feedback. I have just a few comments:

1) I see you are running a 2.6.22 kernel from Gutsy, care to actually test
against the actively developed kernel for Hardy? You'll notice that Mark's
report is against the 2.6.24 Hardy Alpha kernel (ie the 'linux' source
package). You can download and try the latest Hardy Alpha release from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/hardy/ .
2) Also, it would appear that you may actually be experiencing a slightly
different bug. As you'll notice, Mark mentioned that if he inserts the USB
device prior to starting VMWare, it shows up. You're comment seems to claim
otherwise. It's helpful to the kernel team if bug reports target one specific
issue. Care to open a new bug report if you experiencing a different issue?
We can easily mark reports as duplicates of each other later on.
3) And just for future reference, if you could attach the entire dmesg output
that would be great.

Hope that helps. Thanks!
