Confirming this issue on Gutsy Gibbon with FGLRX 8.02 (released 13th Feb 08). Running with KDM, so I've tried with the following remedies (which did not do it for me): * TerminateServer=true in kdmrc * Option "AGPMask" "0x00000005" # Disable 1x and 4x * Option "UseInternalAGPGART" "no"
However, I _am_ able to shift to console mode using Ctrl-Alt-Fx and back to X with no problems, but log outs and Ctrl-Alt-Backspace freezes the machine so that Caps Lock/Num Lock no longer can be toggled - but SysRq works. This is what is present in the log file up to the point of the freeze: Feb 15 09:35:57 nc6000 kernel: [fglrx] interrupt source 10000000 successfully disabled!
