I ran into this same bug on a fresh install of the kubuntu edgy beta on 10/1/06. I'm posting to add the following info: 1) No thunderbird installed here; didn't matter if firefox was launched from command line or not. 2) mozilla-browser in edgy worked fine. 3) subsequent download of firefox 1.5.0.7 from mozilla.com worked fine. 4) didn't matter whether I had empty .mozilla in home directory So it is definitely a bug with the edgy firefox package or odd things about how that particular package interacts with the rest of edgy. -- https doesn't work. https://launchpad.net/bugs/61660 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
