depmod fixes the problem here, but not completely: Open the network monitor applet after you have had your system turned on for more than three minutes. You will notice that it disconnects for 1/2 second, but then reconnects again. This is not a glitch with the applet, as the connection actually halts momentarily. Would it have anything to do with this?
