Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rdate
Per bug #184101, Colin Watson states that clock-setup is included by default in Debian-Installer. Clock-setup, in turn, depends on rdate-udeb through a package interdependency statement in its control file; however, rdate-udeb is not installed nor included in Debian-Installer. # anna-install rdate-udeb > unknown udeb rdate-udeb After clock-setup has been included and its entries can be found in /var/lib/dpkg/status, no references to rdate-udeb can be found in /var/lib/dpkg/status. Is this, perhaps, because rdate is a package in universe instead of main? Does anna have limitations as to which source it can pull packages from? ** Affects: rdate (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Rdate-udeb not installed during installation per clock-setup's dependencies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191224 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
