This issue doesn't just effect the favorites menu entries, it effects all of the KDE4 entries. The path was changed to "/usr/lib/kde4/bin/nameofexec" instead of programname-kde4. New installations won't have this problem, but those upgrading may still have "programname-kde4" in the menu entries.
I changed them all manually, however not everyone knows how to do that, and changing the executable commands and having it break several peoples menus was a stupid idea. Was it even tested? I like how this was marked "Invalid". These types of bugs are serious.
