Public bug reported:
I cannot run commands such as wget from the command line because I am
behind a proxy. In gutsy the gnome control panel proxy settings would
carry over to the terminal, or if that failed I could set the http_proxy
environment variable. In hardy, neither method works. A side effect of
this is that the mstcorefonts and flashplayer-nonfree packages fail to
install due to an access denied error.
