Same for me after upgrade to version 2.0.0.12. First times it worked correctly. Yesterday, after restarting my system, it never started.
And so, from shell I launched "strace firefox" and I got same results on bug reports... To solve it, I have removed ~/.mozilla/firefox directory but it doesn't work.
