Public bug reported:

I had 1 keyboard layout before (us). In this case, on the left side of
backspace, there is \ and | (with shift). That is ok. Then I decide to
add second layout. So I use "gnome-keyboard-properties" and add slovak
layout (slovak qwerty_bksl). Then suddenly, even if I set US keyboard,
the key left to the backspace was n with caron or ) (with shift).
Sometimes, it was the oposit. | stays in us layout but also appeared in
slovak layout so I can't type n wirh caron. It is serious bug for me.
The similar problem is wirh dot (.) in numeric keyboard. In slovak
keybord there is colon (,) and sometimes it stay there even if I change
to US keybord. It makes 2 keyboard layout almost impossible to use
together.
