After I reinstall the Ubuntu 7.1 as well as Gimmie with the latest version and
updates at the date Feb 10th,2008. I find the problem still exists. However the
phenomenon is different from the one I reported previously.
When I use Gimmie Applet,
select Linux-->Shut down-->Shut down
The computer will not shut down, instead the whole "Shut down this computer
now?" window will just disappear without performing any action. This also
happens to the "Restart" command.
Ubuntu version: 7.1
