Hi, I'm also experiencing crashing of aptitude. It happens after the new packages are installed. This is how it looks like:

Segmentation fault (core dumped) [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# After this crash also gnome-terminal crash report activates (the crash report window appears), but the gnome-terminal is still running. I think this is the same bug as reported in bug #179874 and #183717.
