Colin Watson : Numerous comments in different bug reports says that usplash often get 640x480 resolution in Hardy. My own laptop which is always in 1440x900 resolution with Xorg did have a /etc/usplash.conf of 640x480 in Hardy Alpha 4. I suggest that we take a look at this before the final release.
