So Gutsy's kernel doesn't have a /proc/slabinfo because the SLAB allocator was replaced with SLUB and slub didn't do /proc/slabinfo until 2.6.24-rc7: http://kerneltrap.org/Linux/2.6.24-rc7_A_Lot_of_Rather_Small_Changes
