Pedro, It certainly is a continuing problem.
I will have a look at what is involved in installing the Evolution version from Hardy and report back on the forum. It surprises me that the problem is not causing more widespread consternation. That makes me think it has something to do with the specifics of how I move data across from a PC running Feisty.
