As in many other situation you can right click on the music file and -> play with [ ... list ... players .... ] / or Add to [ ... player ...] playlist
Ideally is to set default actions for any file from something like Preferred Applications like -> ON CLICK = play in Listen/Exaile/etc.. ON DOUBLECLICK = Enqueue on Listen/Exaile/etc ... ON MOUSEOVER = Preview audio / video[on a miniwindow] ON RIGHTCLICK = Show contextual menu ... ETC. This way once all actions can be set for entire system ...all OK. No time or nerves wasted. You install a new player ? - no problem - go to update filetype actions. This must be - something very general - system wide - that can set filetype options for a lot of circumstances(not just open with). User driven process. Not every new installed app. automatically register itself as default. Set and forget. -- Audio files must be opened by totem by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/189668 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
