Hello, that woul be great. As I said, it is already packaged in deb format but is neither in Debian or Ubuntu. The guy behind it is Martin Chad,chadm(we all know what goes here]linuxappfinder.com - you might try to contact him. He stated (here: http://linuxappfinder.com/blog/discovering_perl_audio_converter) that he would get it submitted to debian, but I guess it has not happend, sadly (because if it got to Debian, it would get to Ubuntu, and everybody would be happy).
