Any progress on this bug? I have Gutsy full updates as of today (2008-02-04), and Amaya 9.54. The program loads until the amaya window begins to draw, then crashes.
I have a laptop with the onboard intel hardward (915). I've been sucessfully spanning dual screens (laptop & external) with the "i810" driver, and I'm reluctant to make any changes to my xorg.conf files. Here's the output: linux:~$ export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 && XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 amaya 06:21:33 PM: Deleted stale lock file '/home/damon/.amaya-damon'. (amaya:3470): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_set_colormap: assertion `!GTK_WIDGET_REALIZED (widget)' failed The program 'amaya' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 6981 error_code 8 request_code 158 minor_code 5) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) -- amaya crashes: Gdk-ERROR **: BadMatch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/50113 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
