Pedro, it is some days since I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm using Hardy.
shared-mime-info 0.23-1 nautilus 1:2.21.90-0ubuntu3 file -i reports application/x-iso9660 as mime type, while Nautilus reports application/x-cd-image.
