Hello! My notebook (EasyNote R1907) comes with a RaLink rt2500. I can confirm that rt2500pci/rt2x00pci/rt2x00lib modules never connect to my access point (iwconfig) with latest Hardy.
Luckily the workaround with the serialmonkey driver (rt2500.ko) (from CVS) that I compiled some months ago still works for me.
