Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager
I usually set my CPU profile to Conservative or Powersave, using GNOME applet CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor v2.21.4 (which I've set-ui to root). Every time I launch update-manager, it set the CPU profile to OnDemand. This can cause my laptop to over-heat. ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [hardy] update-manager ALWAYS sets CPU Scaling to OnDemand https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/187568 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
