powertop (from svn) tells me that my CPU is stuck in C2 70% of the time until - i enable usb-autosuspend with powertop - or remove uhci_hcd myself. after which C2 drops to zero.
At the same time cat /sys/bus/usb/devices/*/power/level reports AUTO for all values. No usb-devices are used except for a internal fingerprint reader which is not set up (no modules loaded). Kernel is 2.6.22-14-generic from Gutsy. Can anyone explain this please? -- Powertop make wrong suggest to add usbcore.autosuspend=1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/136549 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
