I wouldn't really worry. If this bug is indeed in gnome-control-center (and I have absolutely no reason to doubt Sebastien), it will be fixed as soon as the latest upstream gnome packages hit ubuntu. Given that most 2.21.90 packages (from beta1?) are hitting the repositories about now, I suppose that this week should see the end of this bug.
