You can install these packages the same way you installed pidgin. Or you can follow these instructions :
1. Click on your kubuntu menu / System / konsole 2. Copy this line in the terminal : sudo apt-get install -y gstreamer0.10-plugins-base gstreamer0.10-plugins-good 3.
