I have updated to 2.6.24-5-generic kernel and the error have changed from "ata1.00: failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x40)" to "ata3.00: failed to read native max address (err_mask=0x4)"
I think it's a incompatibility with the motherboard "Abit IB9".
