My laptop (hp nc6400) has a built-in battery, and a second battery
attached. The mouseover for kde-guidance-powermanager shows four
batteries. Two are clearly exact duplicates: the sequence seems to be
(bat1, bat2, bat2, bat1).

$ ls /sys/bus/acpi/drivers/battery
