As noted by Philippe in comment #10 the best way to fix this until a more official fix lands is to add the directory you want to have access to
'/etc/apparmor.d/local/transmission' eg. echo '/home/fprietog/Descargas/ rw,' > /etc/apparmor.d/local/transmission and then run `apparmor_parser -r /etc/apparmor.d/transmission` having system policy automatically update based on the per system defaults in /etc/xdg/user-dirs.defaults is coming, but having system policy adjust based on unprivileged user configuration in ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs is a sandbox escape path. There is work coming to better support user configuration options, but from a security pov directly taking the values from ~/.config/user- dirs.dirs is very problematic. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2127486 Title: [25.10+] Transmission (BT Client): access denied to non-default directories To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/2127486/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
