I can confirm that this issue remains present in Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS (Resolute), using the currently available spice-vdagent package.
System information: - Host: Tahoma-Ubuntu - Distribution: Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS - Architecture: amd64 - systemd: 259 (259.9-0ubuntu0.1) - Installed spice-vdagent: 0.23.0-1ubuntu0.1 - Candidate spice-vdagent: 0.23.0-1ubuntu0.1 Running: `systemd-analyze --user verify /usr/lib/systemd/user/spice- vdagent.service` produces: `/usr/lib/systemd/user/spice-vdagent.service:23: Unknown key 'StandardError' in section [Install], ignoring.` Inspection confirms that `StandardError=null` appears at line 23, under `[Install]`, rather than under `[Service]`. Additional verification: - `dpkg -V spice-vdagent` returns 0, confirming the installed package files match the packaged versions. - `systemd-analyze --user verify` returns 0 despite the warning. - `apt-cache policy spice-vdagent` confirms that 0.23.0-1ubuntu0.1 remains the current candidate in the configured Ubuntu 26.04 repositories. This appears to be the same packaging defect reported here, now confirmed in version 0.23.0-1ubuntu0.1. I understand that Debian addressed the underlying issue in a subsequent package revision. Could the corresponding correction be incorporated into an Ubuntu 26.04 LTS package update?
