Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 26.10, gnome-shell 51.0-2ubuntu3. Fingerprint verification and
session unlocking work, but fingerprint authentication is absent at GDM
after logout/reboot. Installed authServicesLegacy.js returns from
_connectFingerprintManager() when !this._reauthOnly. GDM fingerprint and
password authentication are enabled.
