I've now noticed a weird problem on a Jetson (aarch64, ubuntu Noble).

There are two different version of libpciaccess.0.11.1 installed in the
system: on in /lib, one in /usr/lib.

$ file /lib/aarch64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1
/lib/aarch64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object,
ARM aarch64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked,
BuildID[sha1]=59371ac613beff532be8d65edf8bf1825c333ba3, stripped
$ file /usr/lib/aarch64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1
/usr/lib/aarch64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1: ELF 64-bit LSB shared
object, ARM aarch64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked,
BuildID[sha1]=b1f55c5ff29a6491bdf6c6bbcac49a8c0342ef43, stripped

$ ll /usr/lib/aarch64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 67824 Jun 12 14:21
/usr/lib/aarch64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1
$ ll /lib/aarch64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 67824 Jun 30  2025
/lib/aarch64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1

The older version in /lib doesn't have the patch with is_boot_display.
However, ld.so.conf puts /lib/aarch before /usr/lib/aarch, which results
in Xorg still using the old library.

Does anyone have any idea how did this happen? Isn't it possible that
the previous version of the lib installed in /lib/aarch and that was
changed to /usr/lib/aarch recently? Or didn't it copy it there in
postinst, and stop doing so recently?
