pacemaker (3.0.3-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  [ Ferenc Wágner ]
  * [6f7d582] Considering warnings fatal makes the package build unnecessary
    fragile.
    Aborting the build on any warning is very useful in upstream CI setups,
    but not so much in a packaging situation: deprecation warnings from new
    dependency versions (here CMocka 2.0.0) should generally not break a
    package build. Upstream Pacemaker already got rid of these warnings,
    but those changes are not released yet, so we could have either cherry-
    picked them or make our build more forgiving this way.
    Bug #1122451 was an unrelated temporary breakage in Graphviz, which was
    independently fixed before the NMU.
  * [1a9d319] New upstream release (3.0.3)
    Contains fix for CVE-2026-10649 (Closes: #1130674, #1140188)
  * [f32960a] Refresh our patches
  * [5bcfd8c] Update symbols files (all removed symbols were internal)
  * [dc2e453] Transition our autopkgtest to pkgconf
  * [eea1abf] Allow Kronosnet fallback in unprivileged test containers
  * [fb243aa] Update Standards-Version to 4.7.4 (no changes required)
  * [dbd3ffa] Update watch file to version 5
  * [a8dfeb2] Drop the now-superfluous Priority: optional declaration
  * [e38daf1] Drop the now-superfluous Rules-Requires-Root: no declaration
  * [ee3c168] The Python dependency is automatic on Debhelper compatibility
    level 14.
    Altogether the pacemaker package now Depends on the Python interpreter
    instead of only recommending it. Since Python is more and more
    widespread, this is acceptable.
  * [1b8f57c] Drop obsolete Breaks+Replaces.
    Pacemaker (<< 2.1.4-1~) is oldoldstable (bullseye),
    cluster-glue (<< 1.0.12-18~) is even older.
  * [6560c50] Add note about expected dh_installdocs warning
  * [8c71af0] New patch: Fix typo: becasue -> because
  * [36cd912] Version dependencies between our binary packages.
    We generally assumed such relations anyway.

  [ Alessandro Astone ]
  * [4463935] d/control: Drop explicit dependency on dbus.
    Allow alternative implementations like dbus-broker.
    (Closes: #1122694)

  [ Luca Boccassi ]
  * [cbb82c5] Switch to dh-compat 14
  * [dacd8a4] Install and use sysusers.d/tmpfiles.d config files
    sysusers.d/tmpfiles.d config files allow a package to use
    declarative configuration instead of manually written
    maintainer scripts. This also allows image-based systems
    to be created with /usr/ only, and also allows for factory
    resetting a system and recreating /etc/ on boot.
    https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/latest/sysusers.d.html
    https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/latest/tmpfiles.d.html
    Note that this does not require a hard dependency on systemd,
    debhelper generates dependencies correctly so that they work out
    of the box on non-systemd and non-linux Debian builds seamlessly.

### Old Ubuntu Delta ###

pacemaker (3.0.1-1.1ubuntu1) stonking; urgency=medium

  * Merge with Debian unstable (LP: #2153222). Remaining changes:
    - d/control: make pacemaker binary recommend fence-agents-base
    - d/control: make pacemaker-resource-agents depend on
      resource-agents-base. And also suggest resource-agents-extra with
      non-curated agents.
    - d/t/pacemaker: corosync uses uname -n to define the default node
      name. Previously the default node name was hardcoded in the
      config file as node1.
    - d/control: make pacemaker-cli-utils depend on resource-agents-base
      resource-agents was split into a -base and an -extra package.
    - d/control: depend on pcs and suggest crmsh
    - d/p/cts-no-build-dir.patch: allow tests to run with undefined _BUILD_DIR
      configuration
    - d/t/{control,cts}: run Pacemaker Cluster Test Suite tests
    - d/p/Fix-build-Handle-CMocka-deprecations.patch: Backport commit from
      upstream to fix FTBFS against CMocka 2.
    - d/p/Low-various-Use-const-for-a-few-string-pointer-variables.patch:
      Cherry-pick fix from upstream to avoid FTBFS against glibc 2.43.
    - d/control: Drop explicit dependency on dbus to allow alternative
      implementations like dbus-broker (Closes: #1122694).
