Performed SRU verification for golang-1.26 per the test plan, in the same LXD containers used for golang-1.25 (jammy, noble, resolute; -proposed pinned low-priority, package installed explicitly with -t <series>-proposed):
- jammy: golang-1.26 1.26.8-1~ubuntu0.22.04.2 -- `go version` reports `go1.26.8 linux/amd64`, builds/runs a stdlib-using hello world, cross-compiles cleanly to linux/arm64. - noble: golang-1.26 1.26.8-1~ubuntu0.24.04.2 -- same checks, all pass. - resolute: golang-1.26 1.26.8-1~ubuntu0.26.04.2 -- same checks, all pass. Both golang-1.25 and golang-1.26 are now verified on all three series. Tagging verification-done-jammy, verification-done-noble, verification- done-resolute for golang-1.26. ** Tags removed: verification-needed-jammy verification-needed-noble verification-needed-resolute ** Tags added: verification-done-jammy verification-done-noble verification-done-resolute -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2166409 Title: [SRU] Please backport golang-1.25 (1.25.12) and golang-1.26 (1.26.7) to resolute, noble and jammy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/golang-1.25/+bug/2166409/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
