I have 7.04 fully updated running on a Dell Vostroand noticed that Samba shares created in my hard drive or CD-ROM driver are fully functional in Nautilus, instead it is impossible to enter shares created on a USB external drive. However the Samba shares are fully functional when accessing via LAN or in a Vmware VM with XP.
