Public bug reported:

Please remove the following arm64 binary packages from stonking. They
were produced by src:pytorch-rocm 2.9.1+dfsg-1~exp2ubuntu5; the next
upload will restrict all rocm variants to Architecture: amd64 in
debian/control.rocm, so they cannot be produced on arm64 anymore.

Binaries to remove (arm64 only):

  - python3-torch-rocm
  - libtorch-rocm-dev
  - libtorch-rocm-test
  - libtorch-rocm-2.9

Rationale: the ROCm runtime stack (libamdhip64, rocBLAS, MIOpen,
composable-kernel, …) is only functional on amd64 in Ubuntu; the arm64
rocm binaries have no working device backend.

Reverse-dependency check (stonking, arm64):

  * python3-torch-rocm is referenced by python3-accelerate, python3-baler,
    python3-compressed-tensors, python3-opt-einsum-fx, python3-torchvision,
    python3-transformers — all via alternative deps of the form
      "python3-torch | python3-torch-cuda | python3-torch-rocm"
    so they will satisfy from python3-torch on arm64 (built at 2.12.1 from
    src:pytorch). No arm64 consumer will be broken by this removal.
  * libtorch-rocm-dev / libtorch-rocm-test / libtorch-rocm-2.9 have no
    external reverse-deps on arm64 beyond python3-torch-rocm itself.

Thanks!

** Affects: pytorch-rocm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
